We are surrounded by dead things. Dead technology that used to be cutting edge quickly becomes obsolete. Once-loved objects become unloved and cast aside all too easily.
So I decided to resurrect two objects that were a big part of my growing up—an Atari joystick and an Atari Space Invaders cartridge.
The joystick was turned into a whimsical USB hub interfacing my cutting edge gadgets through a piece of gaming nostalgia, and the cartridge became an oversized yet charming USB flash drive.
